Committee is working on revisions to the tax sale provisions of the Louisiana Revised Statutes
NEW ORLEANS - Paul Pritchett of Ciolino, Pritchett and Onstott was appointed to the Louisiana State Law Institute's Tax Sale Committee this week. Paul joins colleagues from across Louisiana in helping advise and update Louisiana law.
The Louisiana State Law Institute serves as a crucial resource, by offering research and reform recommendations to the Louisiana State Legislature in an advisory capacity.
“It’s an honor to be be a part of the Louisiana State Law Institute’s Tax Sale Committee,” Paul said. “I’m looking forward to working with attorneys from across the state and offer constructive input to the legislature.”

Founded in 1933 at Louisiana State University, the purposes of the Louisiana State Law Institute are declared by the Legislature to be: “to promote and encourage the clarification and simplification of the law of Louisiana and it's better adaptation to present social needs; to secure the better administration of justice and to carry on scholarly legal research and scientific legal work.”
